1. If it is a universal shaft with a retractable spline pair, the position of the spline sleeve and the spline shaft should be checked during installation to see if they are compatible. If not, it may cause impact during operation and damage the universal shaft.

2. The two ends of the universal joint shaft can be used as active or driven ends in principle, but during installation, attention should be paid to meeting the design requirements of the transmission system. In addition, it should be noted that the spline fitting area should be as far away from vibration and impact sources as possible, and dirt or water should also be avoided from entering the spline fitting surface to avoid various problems.

3. Before installation, the flange joint surface should be cleaned thoroughly. If there is rust resistant grease on it, it should be cleaned in a timely manner. Additionally, some unfavorable factors on the joint surface should be eliminated to reduce friction.

4. The universal joint shaft should avoid long-term overload use and be operated correctly to avoid damage.

5. The lubrication of the universal joint shaftshould be carried out in accordance with the specified requirements, and regular maintenance should be carried out, mainly by inspecting the bearing raceway, the contact surface between the bearing end face and the baffle plate, as well as the mating surface of the spline pair, to see how worn they are and whether replacement is necessary.
